See if kids you know are going to this camp.
A four-week summer camp for gifted and twice-exceptional students in grades 1-12 that combines project-based learning with neurodevelopmental support, focusing on STEAM challenges, skill-building, sensory optimization, and peer collaboration in an air-conditioned historic facility in South Norwalk.
Cajal Academy's summer program runs June 29–July 22, 2026 (no camp July 3), and combines Camp Innovation with optional Summer Intensives. All campers participate in project-based learning that develops critical thinking and executive function skills while solving real-world challenges; the 2026 project involves the Amazon ecosystem, universal design, and creating a mini golf course, with field trips to the Maritime Aquarium. Summer Intensives offer specialized neurodevelopmental support for sensory needs, social-emotional development, executive function, reading and written expression, motor coordination, and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. The program is designed for bright and gifted children, including those with learning disabilities, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and other learning differences. A sibling discount of 5% is available.
