A summer day camp for children ages 5–12 at Busy Bees Tempe Child Care Center, featuring themed weekly sessions with inquiry-based learning, creative activities, STEM exploration, and age-appropriate experiences through their Discovery Zone programme.
Busy Bees Tempe runs Discovery Zone, a summer camp where children ages 5 and up engage in inquiry-based learning through rotating two-week themes. Each theme—such as Nature Ambassadors, Cultivating Creativity, and Community Quests—is guided by strategic questions that connect to children's interests. Educators provide hands-on activities, creative expression opportunities, and collaborative learning experiences. Younger age groups including infants and toddlers also participate with developmentally tailored activities. The programme balances structured learning with free exploration, incorporating STEAM elements and focusing on problem-solving, creativity, and social-emotional growth.
