Weekly summer ballet classes for children ages 3-12 at Brooklyn Ballet, offering flexible scheduling and classes at various levels from Pre-Ballet through Ballet II & Pre-Pointe, taught by experienced faculty. Also runs: Brooklyn Ballet Next Step Summer Intensive.
Brooklyn Ballet offers world-class dance training for young students ages 3-12 during the summer. Classes meet weekly and cater to students at every level, from first-time movers to advancing dancers. Pre-Ballet (ages 3-5) introduces ballet basics through creative movement; Elementary Ballet (ages 6-7) builds foundational skills; Ballet I (ages 8-10) introduces traditional class structure with barre work and center exercises; and Ballet II & Pre-Pointe (ages 10-12) focuses on intermediate technique and preparation for pointe work. A placement audition is required for Ballet II & Pre-Pointe students.
