A classical art summer camp in Long Island City teaching drawing, painting, and composition using centuries-old European techniques. Sessions run for four weeks in July and August with classes for ages 8 and up, including high school portfolio preparation.
Bridgeview School of Fine Arts offers summer art camps teaching classical techniques developed by European masters. Two four-week sessions run from July 6 to August 2 and August 3 to 29, with multiple class times each day for ages 8–10, 10–12, and 13 and up. Younger students focus on foundational drawing and painting, while older students and high school students work on portfolio preparation for competitive art schools. All materials are included in tuition. Class sizes are kept small, with 6–8 students per group for children.
