A summer day camp in Bronx for children ages 3 months to 5 years, running in July and August with weekly themed activities including science, art, music, movement, gardening, and outdoor play.
BedRock's summer program is an extension of the regular school year with additional outdoor time. Each week children explore a new theme that sparks creativity and curiosity—ranging from Water and Dinosaurs to BedRock Olympics and Ooey Gooey Fun. The curriculum incorporates math, science, discovery, language arts, literature, sensory integration and creative arts in a developmentally appropriate and balanced daily schedule. Children help care for the vegetable and herb garden and spend significant time on the outdoor playground whenever weather permits.
