BASIS Independent McLean Summer Programs

BASIS Independent McLean's summer program features multiple camp options designed for different ages and interests. Day camps for rising grades 1-5 include weekly sessions with indoor and outdoor activities exploring science and nature, creative and performing arts, and sports and games. Academic camps allow students to deepen learning in specific subjects including math, robotics, literature, and creative writing through hands-on classroom applications. Specialty camps offer discovery-based activities for exploring new skills and talents. Sports camps bring in specialists from the area to help children build athletic skills and confidence. Younger children in preschool can join junior day camps with age-appropriate science, nature, arts, and movement activities. Virtual summer programs taught by the school's subject expert teachers provide online academic and enrichment courses students can take from home.
