Bach to Rock Gaithersburg offers spring, winter, and summer music camps where children learn instruments, explore musical concepts through storytelling and play, and perform with peers. Camps are available in week-long, partial-week, and half-day formats for ages 4 and up.
Bach to Rock's music camps introduce children to instruments and core musical concepts. Rock City World Tour Camp, for ages 4-6, uses storytime and movement-based activities to teach concepts like loud/soft, fast/slow, and high/low notes while exposing campers to instruments like hand-drum, recorder, and keyboard. Older children (ages 7+) can participate in camps focused on rock band, glee club, beat making, and recording arts. All camps emphasize learning favorite songs, playing with peers, and building foundational music skills. Small camp sizes ensure individual attention, and campers develop counting, pattern recognition, hand-eye coordination, and social skills.
