An 8-week summer riding day camp for children ages 8 to 16 at a 55-acre facility near Philadelphia. Campers receive structured instruction in hunt seat and dressage at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, with qualified instructors and well-trained horses.
Ashford Farm has operated its day camp since 1959, offering eight weeks of summer instruction in riding and horsemanship for riders ages 8 to 16. Classes are organized by skill level—beginner, intermediate, and advanced—so children can work toward their personal riding goals. The farm's instructors are highly experienced in teaching children, and many were themselves campers at Ashford before becoming counselors. The facility includes three outdoor all-weather rings and a cross-country course. Before and after care is available for an additional fee.
