Ascend Dance Academy offers summer intensives and sessions for children ages 18 months and up, with age-specific programming including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip hop, and other dance styles taught by ABT-certified instructors.
Ascend Dance Academy runs two summer session blocks in June and July. Sprout and Leap students (ages 18 months to 7) participate in Tot Time, preschool combo classes, and fundamentals sessions. Peak Summer Intensives for ages 7-12 and 13+ run for one or two weeks in early June (10am-2pm and 10am-4pm respectively), covering ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, pilates, broadway, and pre-pointe/pointe technique. Peak Summer Sessions run July 6-30 with weekly classes in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and optional hip hop and acro classes. All classes are taught by experienced faculty using ABT National Training Curriculum methodology.
