See if kids you know are going to this camp.
A summer camp in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood where youth ages 5–24 learn entrepreneurship through hands-on business creation, from basic customer service for younger children to launching real businesses and getting hired by actual clients.
The ARK Entrepreneurial Center runs a summer camp delivered alongside its year-round after-school program, organized into four age-based tiers. Baby Bosses (ages 5–9) learn entrepreneurship fundamentals through play-based activities including customer service and product distribution. Mini Bosses (ages 10–13) create business plans, develop marketing strategies, learn graphic design, receive funding to build products, and showcase them at the Youth Boss Expo. Big Bosses (ages 14–18) receive advanced training and can legally register their businesses as LLCs. Be Entrepreneurial (ages 18–24) is a workforce development program teaching leadership and problem-solving within established organizations. The program emphasizes real-world experience: Mini Bosses have been hired by actual clients including Chicago Public Schools for catering and event photography. Financial assistance is available.
