A three-week summer course for high school students exploring architecture and urban design through hands-on projects, campus exploration, and college credit at the University of Maryland's School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Also runs: ARCH151: Intro to Digital Fabrication, RDEV250: People, Planet and Profit: Building Sustainable Places.
ARCH150 immerses high school students in the world of the built environment through a three-week program. Students explore careers in architecture and urban design, meet practicing architects and creative professionals, examine campus architecture and regional projects, and develop a design project while working with peers. The course awards three college credits and offers a taste of university life using the resources of a top public institution.
