See if kids you know are going to this camp.
A martial arts summer camp in Union, NJ for ages 4–12 where children learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Muay Thai basics through structured technique blocks, games, and life skills instruction, with separate age-appropriate curricula for Cubs (4–6) and Lions (7–12).
AllStar Summer Camp runs weekly sessions where children begin with movement drills and stretching, then progress to age-appropriate BJJ or Muay Thai techniques. Cubs (ages 4–6) focus on listening skills, coordination, and following directions through short, high-energy activities. Lions (ages 7–12) learn real techniques including takedowns, escapes, and grappling sequences, earning a stripe on their camp belt by summer's end. Each day includes a life skills segment covering discipline, respect, focus, and handling frustration. The camp intentionally keeps groups small so instructors know every child by day two. Most campers have no prior martial arts experience; the curriculum is built for beginners but accommodates more advanced students. Children should bring comfortable clothes, sneakers, water bottle, and lunch or snack; loaner gear is provided for technique sessions.
