Aikido of Park Slope Kids & Teens Summer Camp

Aikido of Park Slope periodically offers special martial arts camps for children and teens during summer vacation and school breaks. Programs combine Aikido training, movement, outdoor activity, mindfulness, creativity and community in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Based in Park Slope, camps include training at the dojo and outdoor activities in Prospect Park. Past camps have incorporated activities such as origami, haiku, storytelling and age-appropriate wooden weapons practice alongside focused Aikido instruction. Children learn balance, awareness, cooperation and peaceful conflict resolution through the principles of traditional Japanese Aikido.
