A three-evening introductory rowing camp at Monksville Reservoir for beginners ages 11–19. Participants learn safe technique and spend real time on the water in small groups with experienced coaches, with all boats, oars, and safety gear provided.
ACRA's Learn to Row program offers a three-session introduction to competitive rowing at Monksville Reservoir in Ringwood, New Jersey. Each session runs from 5:00–8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 9, Monday, September 14, and Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Groups are capped at 12 participants to ensure individual attention. No rowing experience is necessary; the program focuses on safe technique, real water time from the first day, and building confidence working as a crew. All boats, oars, and safety gear are included. The program is led by coaches Oksana Tsimbalova, a former Olympic-level coach, and Egor Tsimbalov.
