A.L.M.A. Summer Camp

A.L.M.A. Summer Camp follows a play-based, arts-focused approach where campers ages 3–6 and 7–12 spend full days outdoors engaged in gardening, swimming, climbing, biking, and cooking in the mud kitchen. The program emphasizes spontaneous learning through real-world projects such as organizing lemonade stand fundraisers, writing and filming movies, and designing costumes. Older campers (ages 8–12) go on field trips to venues like theater performances, the Shedd Aquarium, escape rooms, and trampoline parks to build independence and leadership skills. A Counselors in Training internship program allows returning older campers to help plan activities and implement lessons while still enjoying recreational time. The camp runs eight weeks from June 8 to July 31, 2026, with holiday week adjustments and opportunities for special guest instructors.
