A multi-week summer dance intensive for serious ballet students ages 7-24, held in downtown Chicago. The program offers daily classes in ballet, pointe, contemporary, variations, partnering and other disciplines, led by internationally acclaimed instructors including the school's founders. On-site housing and Chicago cultural activities are available.
A&A Ballet's International Summer Intensive provides versatile dance training for serious students with emphasis on developing each student's potential. Three session options run in summer 2027: a five-week session (June 14 - July 16) for ages 10-24, a four-week session (July 19 - August 13) for ages 10-24, and a two-week Junior Intensive (July 19-30) for ages 7-11. Classes cover ballet, pointe, men's technique, partnering, variations, contemporary, character, body conditioning, repertoire and choreography, taught by Anna Reznik and Alexei Kremnev and visiting master teachers from American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, San Francisco Ballet and other major companies. Supervised on-site housing is available near downtown Chicago, with weekend and evening activities exploring the city's cultural attractions, parks, beaches and entertainment.
