A day camp for children ages 7-13 centered on horseback riding and horse care, where campers are assigned their own horse for the week and receive instruction in both English and Western riding styles alongside grooming, safety, and equestrian education.
9 Acres Equestrian Center runs day camps Monday through Thursday from 10 AM to 3 PM. Each camper is assigned a horse on the first day and cares for it throughout the week. The program includes daily riding instruction in both English and Western styles, grooming and bathing, saddling and bridling, barn safety, horse anatomy and breeds, first aid, horse-related crafts, and educational games. Campers must bring a sack lunch and water bottle; equestrian helmets are provided and required. The facility is located at a family-owned equestrian center that has operated as a teaching and boarding facility for decades.
